Job description
A well-established and growing renewable energy company in central London are on the search for a Head of Group Reporting. Since being founded well over a decade ago, they have grown from strength to strength to today becoming the largest company in Europe within their sector and being acquired by a leading multinational powerhouse.
As the Head of Group Reporting, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Monthly reporting cycle and close process
- Reporting across the primary statements to all key stakeholders
- Review balances in-month and material monthly movements to ensure accuracy for the close
- Responsible for maintaining and reviewing centralised journals
- Reconcile balances and investigate variances and large movements with Finance Business Partnering team and local Finance Managers
- Engage with key stakeholders with commercial acuity to problem solve complex areas
- Support in SOX controls
- Support the transformation of external & internal audit processes
- Partnering with local finance teams and auditors to deliver Group and Subsidiary audits by required deadlines.

Qualifications, skills and experience required for the position of Head of Group Reporting:
- Minimum of 3-4 years post qualification experience
- Ideally you will be Top 10 audit trained
- Technically strong with an up to date IFRS knowledge including IFRS 9, 15 and 16 (US GAAP is desirable but not essential)
- Multi-currency group consolidation in a large organisation
- Expert in using an ERP system (preferably SAP S/4 HANA)
- Demonstrate experience working in a growing, high turnover business, responsibility for all controls and processes
- Proven experience of leading and developing the group audit process
This role is paying between £90,000-£100,000 per annum as well as offering a competitive benefits package including bonus, pension, healthcare, hybrid working and much more.
