Credit Portfolio Officer

An esteemed international financial institution is seeking a Credit Portfolio Officer to join their Credit Management Department. This role focuses on monitoring and analyzing the credit portfolio to ensure effective risk management, regulatory compliance, and reporting accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Portfolio Monitoring: Analyze the credit portfolio to identify early warning signals, including repayment patterns, financial covenants, internal ratings, and country risk.
2. Risk Control Reporting: Prepare detailed reports for senior management, committees, regulators, and other stakeholders in both English and Mandarin.
3. Credit Risk Management: Manage limits for derivatives, money market products, and other areas requiring risk controls.
4. Risk Analysis: Assess macroeconomic trends, sector performance, peer benchmarks, and specific risks affecting the bank's credit exposure.
5. Asset Quality Oversight: Handle non-performing loan assessments, write-offs, and IFRS 9 provision calculations.
6. Departmental Support: Assist with policy and procedure updates, departmental projects, and compliance initiatives as directed by senior management.

What We're Looking For:

• 3-5 years of experience in credit portfolio management or a related field.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin (both written and verbal).
• Strong analytical skills with advanced experience in Excel and Power BI (Python/Access skills are a plus).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and PowerPoint.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
