I am exclusively working with a growing manufacturing business who, following a period of change following a recent merger, are looking for a Financial Controller to join them on a part time basis. This role will offer the successful candidate to a pivotal force in driving this company's growth alongside the Operations Director and Managing Director.

In this role, you won't just be overseeing the numbers-you'll be guiding the financial health of the business and shaping decisions. As a vital member of their small but dynamic team, you'll be directly involved in everything from the day-to-day AP/AR management, producing timely, accurate management accounts all while implementing strategic insights.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive financial reports that inform top-level decisions
• Oversee key areas like billing, AP, AR, Inventory and revenue recognition
• Lead the creation of budgets, forecasts and variance analysis
• Ensure smooth, compliant payroll processing and vendor relationships
• Monitor and forecast cash flow and manage financing strategies
• Drive improvements in financial systems and controls to keep us efficient and agile
