One of the UK's most prestigious listed Investment businesses has an opening for a qualified financial accountant in their central finance team on a contract basis to help over a busy year end period.

Based in high-end offices in central London this hybrid role is a great contract opportunity available for 3-6 months offering autonomy and exposure to senior leadership. You will need to be a technically strong well-rounded accountant who will be responsible for accurate and timely financial accounting to support the year-end audit process.

Duties include:

• Preparation of Annual statutory financial statements (GAAP and IFRS)
• Consolidation reporting
• Involvement in the Audit process
• Subsequent analysis and decision support
• Business partnering with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Process improvement and increasing team efficiencies.

Skills/Experience required:

• A recognised accounting qualification
• 3+ years of PQE ideally from the Investment sector, wider FS is also considered
• Strong experience of year-end audit
• Ability to work autonomously
• Strong IT system skills
• Experience in process improvements
