Job description

Our Client seeks a Qualified Management Accountant to join their team based in Windsor. The Management Accountant would be responsible for the preparation of timely and accurate financial information to support the production of the management accounts & information provided to the business.

Duties of the Management Accountant include:

  • Assist with the month end close process through preparation of journals and analysis including accruals, prepayments, payroll, sundry income, cash, fixed assets.
  • Support the completion of comprehensive analytical reviews and analysis of the P&L and balance sheet.
  • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations with appropriate resolution of reconciling items
  • Month end reconciliations of intercompany balances
  • Monthly bank reconciliations & support to treasury function as required.
  • Complete cost centre reviews for the central functions and provide financial support and advice to the budget holders to ensure budgets and costs are being managed effectively.
  • Support non-finance personnel where required on costing matters.
  • Support the payroll manager when required.
  • Assist with the external audit process.
  • Input into the VAT/Tax submissions.
  • Proactively determine opportunities to streamline and/or automate processes in SAP.

Requirements for the Management Accountant include:

  • Qualified ACCA/CIMA with 2+ years' experience
  • Experience of SAP desirable
  • Exposure to data analytics/reporting tools (AI, Office Connect, Tableau) desirable.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering consistently accurate work.
  • Ability to organise/prioritise work in and around deadlines, workloads, and conflicting priorities.
  • Bring a positive, enthusiastic, and 'can-do' attitude to work.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and strong prioritisation/time management skills
