A notable media organisation has an exciting opportunity for a Project Accountant to join their finance team for a 3-6 Month contract.

Your new role

You will be working in partnership with and supporting, the Project Leader and be responsible for providing up to date finance reports to project stakeholders on various financial activities including project budget versus actuals, including invoicing management, month end reporting and ad hoc financial reporting. You will also coordinate the control and reconciliation of project accounts, ledgers and systems and ensure data capture and transfer of integrity.

What you'll need to succeed

• CAANZ/ CA/ ACA qualified- Practice background desired
• You will be a self-starter, with an ability to work independently and hit the ground running
• You will have well developed communication skills with an ability to engage with non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong skills in Excel, coupled with strong analytical skills are essential.
