A well-known retail brand based in Central London are recruiting for a Senior Financial Accountant to assist the Group Reporting Manager to provide consolidated financial statements and ensure their compliance with the relevant reporting standards (GAAP/IFRS). This role offers hybrid working.
Duties as Senior Financial Accountant will include:
Producing financial statements in accordance with local GAAP/IFRS.
Prepare management consolidations for the senior management team.
Act as the point of contact for external auditors and deal with any queries.
Provide technical accounting guidance to wider finance team.
Support the implementation and improvement of reporting processes to ensure robust financial controls.
Stay abreast of any updates to regulatory reporting standards and update the group policies accordingly.
The ideal candidate:
Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) from a top-tier accountancy practice.
Post-qualified experience with a retail or FMCG business.
Excellent technical accounting knowledge including IFRS.
Experience producing consolidated accounts in a multi-national business.
