Are you a consultant looking for an exciting new Business Continuity 6M contract which will provide an opportunity to strategise, lead on the programme, and business partner senior stakeholders?

Our client, a dynamic retail organisation, are looking to hire an experienced Continuity and Operational Resilience professional, with ideally at least 5 years' of relevant experience.

Based in their Milton Keynes office and offering a competitive day rate up to £650 per day, alongside at least 3 days working from home per week. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive individual!

Responsibilities:

• Re-evaluate the existing approach, including the Group Business Continuity Policy, Plan and associated documents; and establish a new Group Business Continuity strategy.
• Shape the new programme of work alongside senior management and ensure UK Leadership / core members of the Crisis Management team are communicated with.
• Work collaboratively and strategically to make sure new plans and strategies are delivered in line with current policies and ISO 22301, ensuring this is ready to roll out.

Ideally you will be or have:

• At least 5-7 years' experience within business continuity, resilience and project management within a similar Retail, Distribution or Manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience with reporting, analysing, and implementing policies and creating new frameworks within business continuity.
• Hands on experience liaising, communicating and influencing senior stakeholders across the business, and leading on projects ensuring deadlines are met.
• Ideally you will also have a degree and a certification. I.e. from the Business Continuity Institute (CBCI) or (MBCI) or equivalent.
