A well-established asset management firm in Mayfair are looking to a hire Management Accountant to join their team on a hybrid working basis. This newly created position due to business growth will play a pivotal role in providing accurate financial information, analysis, and insights to support strategic decision-making within the organisation.
Key responsibilities as Management Accountant include:
Assist in the preparation of quarterly management accounts
Conduct variance analysis to identify key drivers of financial performance and provide insights to management.
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
Maintain and reconcile ledger accounts
Assist in monitoring cash flow and working capital
Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including assisting with preparation of statutory accounts, tax returns and assisting with the year-end audit.
Support Month End and Year End close process
The ideal candidate will be:
ACA qualified or qualified ACCA/CIMA with financial services industry experience
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts, with the ability to interpret and analyse financial data.
Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
