A fast-growing gaming and entertainment group is looking for a Financial Accountant who will be responsible for a broad range of accounting tasks and provide essential support in financial reporting, budgeting, and general ledger management. This role is ideal for a proactive self-starter working towards their professional accounting qualification and looking to gain comprehensive experience in various aspects of accounting. This is a remote role for candidates based in Malta.

The Responsibilities of the Financial Accountant are:

• Prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries.
• Manage invoicing, payments, and supplier reconciliations.
• Assist with VAT returns, audits, and compliance.
• Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making.
• Drive process improvements and financial controls.

The Successful Financial Accountant will be:

• Part-qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 2-3 years' experience.
• Proficient in Xero and advanced in Excel.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communicator and team player.
• Adaptable, proactive, and eager to grow in a fast-paced environment.
